Betty Nankabirwa is the local driving force behind the initiative in Ggaba. She is trained educator and has many years of experience as supervisor from her work with marginalized children and adolescents.
In Denmark, Sidsel Krarup Bjerrum is the driving force behind the project. Sidsel is educated in organization and management and has many years of experience in the social field - nationally and internationally.
She has been part of the project's start-up in January 2015. In addition, the project has a group of dedicated people in the back both in Uganda and here in Denmark - people who, like Sidsel, work voluntarily to ensure a better future for the disabled.
